Cherry Cola
by Koye Berry
You say we Southern boys make it sweeter
But I know you don't want to drink.
Fine--- for the first time.
We still have something, it seems, that I've wanted for years.

The incentive is this: give a white man a rake.
We both understand---
So let's all listen to what the viola has to say;
I, too, am sure it's lightning.
