Who we're looking for:
Bloggers, critics, journalists, creative writers, tapers, video artists, film makers. Ideally from the the Baltimore / DC area, but from another scene is cool too. We're always looking to expand the network.
What's in it for you:
A vehicle for self-publication. You post whatever you want, whenever you want. Beatbots doesn't make any money, so you won't get paid. On the bright side, it can help you promote your own personal projects. :)
How to apply:
To apply for a staff position on the Beatbots Webzine we require three writings samples. We prefer that these samples be the first three things you'd post to the site, if accepted. As such, they should be properly spell/grammar checked. Failure to do this will result in automatic rejection.
To apply for a staff position on the Beatbots A/V Club please send samples of your audio / video work to the email address below. We prefer that these samples be the first things you'd post to the site, if accepted.
In addition to your samples, please include a one paragraph bio about who you are, what you're into and why you think you'd make a good addition to Beatbots.
The decision making process:
After we receive your writing samples, your work will be read, discussed and voted on by active staff. If you win over more than half of the staff, you're in!
