The Hilltop Hightops: Lansdowne Christian Church; Baltimore, MD August 9, 2009

The Hilltop Hightops is a side project featuring most members of The Dirty Marmaduke Flute Squad (minus Capt. Mediocrity), along with Lisa Lunt. While The Flute Squad is very much an adult-oriented band (or at least horny teenage boys), The Hilltop Hightops targeted audience is younger children. While the songs of the Hilltop Hightops certainly carry themselves and are very enjoyable, they are appreciated all the more if you listen to the DMFS songs that the HH songs are based on: “You’re Too Skinny” becomes “I Like Kitties”; “Blood of the Meat” is now “Smell of Your Feet”; and the always fun “Lesbian Butt Sex” becomes “Anchovy Pancakes.”
Excellent and fun set! A few wind issues, but nothing major.

Thanks, Jeff! This recording sounds excellent. We really appreciate you coming all the way out to a church backyard for one of our shows. Glad you dug it, man. :)
That siren happening was one of the coolest things ever.
