I told a few people that the Wye Oak set from Sonar last night would show up here, but that’s been changed. The live audio from that fantastic set can now be listened/downloaded at Aural States.

Aural States also has a new Wye Oak video for Please Concrete (linked from Pitchfork, I think).

Jesus in Disguise is Mick Short (Heroin UK, The Wire Orchestra), DJ Tyler Quinn is from The Wire Orchestra and The Expanding Man, and the Newagehillbilly is Alex Strama (Heroin UK, The Wire Orchestra).

Excellent set marred by terrible show management: this set was the last of four for the night and while all other bands had a minimal of thirty minutes to play, all that was left for this great pairing was 13 minutes. Hopefully Mick and Tyler will get together for a make up show (I think they owe us another set to make up for this debacle).
