Headwound Kathy

You can find better pics from the show (not many Headwounds) courtesy of Chrissy here. It seems that Sarah Cathcart is no longer grooving with the band, and this was the first show I’ve seen Headwounds without spandex (Kathy is hot in whatever she’s wearing).

This was my fourth time to see Headwounds. Very kick ass!

The Dirty Marmaduke Flute Squad set can be found here.
The Bad Liquor Pond set can be found here.
The Heroin UK set will eventually find it’s way here.

“Slinky”:

This was the first time I had seen Ecstatic Sunshine since they went through that lineup/sound change, although I had heard a few recordings of their shows last winter courtesy of our own Jeff the Taper. They played for less than twenty minutes, but the band proved that no name change is needed and that they’re just as awesome as the old Ecstatic Sunshine. White Williams guests on synthesizer (he’s the one in the middle who can frequently be seen staring off into space and looking bored).
